Movement
I am starting to get really nervous. I keep hearing everyone behind me feeling their babies and I am almost positive I felt her on Thursday and Saturday nights but nothing since Those were just flutters too. I will be 20 weeks Friday.
How consistent was your movement by week 20???? Should I be concerned. I go to the doctor Monday but I feel like calling today.

Re: Movement
I'm in the same boat at almost 21 weeks. I think I might feel movement sometimes, then nothing. I think the movement might become more prominent as you approach 24 weeks or so. My SIL did not feel anything at 20 weeks either and she is now going on 25 weeks. I think everyone is different.

Re: Movement
Most important thing to remember is everyone is different.
My sister (who is now pg with #3) didn't start to feel consistent movement with her first until almost 24 weeks.
Me, on the other hand, started feeling movement at least once a day by 20 weeks.

Re: Movement
My doctor told me SOME people feel it as early as 18 weeks but most don't feel it until at least 20 if not later. I feel like you- I sometimes wonder if I am feeling something but then nothing for days. Can't tell if my brain is playing tricks on me (I'll be 18 weeks Friday)

Re: Movement
Nah i wouldn't worry about it. I was in the same boat as you. I didn't start to feel bubbles until around 20-22 weeks (but even then i couldn't be sure). Then around 24 weeks was when it got stronger and stronger and i knew it was the baby kicking.
Most websites say you don't start to feel flutters until around 20 weeks, so it's nothing to worry about yet. When i went for my 20 week visit, the doctor asked if i felt anything yet and when i said i wasn't sure, he wasn't concerned at all. he said i would in the next few weeks and i did!

Re: Movement
I'm 22 weeks & I feel movement everyday- this was only until recently though. At week 20 I had flutters here & there but nothing consistant at all. Give it another week or two. I too was worried about it until about last week when I started feeling movement all the time.
I must add: Your baby is probably kicking when your sleeping because I feel him most of the time when I'm relaxed- watching tv or laying down.

Re: Movement
I am confused as well....I think I feel movement but definitely not on a consistent basis....
Doc said perfectly normal...and not too worry at all....he said soon enough we'll be feeling those kicks and punches....
