On the topic of hospital PJ's

What size do you buy? Your pre-pregnancy size, a size larger or your maternity size?

Mimi had a nice one but it was almost $90 for the top, bottoms and robe. I hate night gowns so would love to find a pj pants, top and a robe. I was told to stay with dark colors though b/c of potential stains. What are other's using? Did you buy underwear for after too? Again, what size, what style, etc?

I bought several black yoga type pants in Large. They had a draw string so I could make them tighter if needed. I also bought a bunch of t-shirts (I knew I wasn't breast feeding). I also packed granny panties for those super huge pads the hospital supplies. I had a c-section and found the pants and t-shirt to be very comfortable. I didn't spend more the $50 on all of it from Target.

i was just wondering the same thing about sizing. i just found some pjs etc from a site that goldi0218 mentioned in another topic, sorry i cant get the pic to post!

I got a size larger than my normal size and they fit fine.

I wore night gowns only because I had a c-section and it was easier to lift the gown for them to check my incision and the bottoms wouldn't rub against the incision

I wore drawstring pants/capri's and my dh's short sleeved v-neck t-shirts.
