35.5 weeks and feeling DONE!

I just am so tired these days and dread going to work! I don't know what to do with myself at this point either. I feel like there is so much to do to get ready but really, we've got the nursery pretty much all set, everything is put together....now it's just wait and wait and wait! Anyone else at this stage and feeling this way??

I am like the perdue oven stuff I am popped and DONE.

In fact I am going to work today I think and telling them that Friday will be my last day. I just can't. Actually I am ok when I am there it's getting there and all the pains with my lack of sleep too. As sad as I am to leave my students now I need to rest.

I'm right there with you. 37 1/2 weeks and I walked into my bosses office yesterday and told him today is my last day physically in the office.

I will work from home for a week after and then I'm done!

I can't wait until today is over.

I feel the same way and work has been so intense, I can't take it. I've been working 7 full days (at least 14 hours) a week. I started crying to DH that it's too much!! In two more weeks, I have the option to call it quits whenever I want...so I'm counting away!

Re: 35.5 weeks and feeling DONE!

Well, now I am swollen and achy all over, but it is still not THAT bad. Work is getting difficult being up and on m y feet all day. I want to cry each evenning when I get home and have to start work for my master's program. We have a new person that started at work on MOnday. so I figure in about 2 weeks I can have him trained enough where I can relax a little bit.
Hang in there!Chat Icon

Re: 35.5 weeks and feeling DONE!

I'm so with you, but we are far from ready as far as the baby's room and stuff. The room is empty, but I have to wait for the furniture to be delivered... it's making me a little anxious. Then I have to get all the stuff from my mom's from my shower and wash it once I have a dresser to put it all in. I have a feeling my last few days - right after I stop working are going to be constant running around for last minute things.

I'm so done with work though!

I'm 39 weeks and feel that way! I'm working at home these days though, only because I get so uncomfortable sitting at my desk all day!

Hang in there - we're almost at the finish line!! Chat Icon
