if you consider that i'm staring at a bottle of lupron and a syringe for like the last hour---- i'm doing somewhat ok- just waiting for DH to get his butt home so we can get this over w/!!!!

Yeah!!! I updated my post like an hour or so ago- DH called while I was in the restaurant (I don't get service in there) to tell me he was going to finish earlier than expected and he'd be home in time!!!

I'm sure that's a relief for you. That'll make it much easier!
When I took the Ovidrel, I found that it worked out well--I laid in my favorite recliner, closed my eyes and turned my head, and it was over in about 10 seconds. you'll be ok!

yeah- the first time i got the gonal-f shot i jumped as DH came at me--- and we scratched my belly  i learned that night NEVER to stand when getting the shot--- and have iced the area and lay down or sat down ever since...

exactly! my mom was laughing at me- i have a little area in my room w/ the poem that lauren posted and the instructions for how to do the lupron shots-- they're both taped to my armoire--- i'm using the poem as inspiration to remind me when i start to freak out why i'm doing this....
