Insurance Question
Hello -
I am in need of any infomation you might know..My mom is in the process fo divorcing her husband and she is 60 with many health issues. She does not have benefits of her own and once the divorce goes through she will have no insurance. I looked into seeing if i could get her on my insuracne if she was a dependent (she is livign with us for now) but they said no. Anyone know of any government insurance programs she might be eligible for??

I only know a little info, my mom made a deal before her divorce was final that my dad had to continue to cover her for x amount of years after the divorce was final. But if that doesn't work, theres alaways that healthy NY plan

exactly what I was going to say. She can negotiate it with the divorce. Healthy NY has income limits though.
