Anyone else NOT like the baby belly?
I know most of you seem to like your baby belly, but i can't help but feel fat!
I hate the way maternity clothes look and i just can't wait to wear my prepregnancy clothes again. I was a size 2 before, and always obsesed with my weight, so maybe that's why i'm having an extra hard time....
Oh well, just in a funk.
Plus this weather isn't helping my mood!

I don't know if I love my baby belly so much, as I like the fact that it's the only place the weight has gone.
I do feel fat most times, but I've always been extremely self-concious of my body.
I was saying the other day, I can't wait to start WW once he comes out.

i have always hated my stomach - when i gained weight, my stomach was the first place it showed.
now that i am PG, i am starting to like it, especially now that i am feeling the baby move. but i do find myself hoping that i won't get any bigger than this.

I like it when I have clothes on  I like the little bump and when walking down the street how my baby bumps makes others smile. I like walking past something and seeing my reflection and knowing it's not fluff it's a baby 
But when I have no clothes on oh i hate it. I feel so fat. I feel like a house. I get so self conscience and wonder if I'll ever loose the weight I gained.
But overall I like it

eh, I don't mind the extra girth.... I had fluff there before, and now I am on the cusp of actually looking pregnant....
but then again, I stopped fussing over my appearance years ago.... maybe around 30? so that is likely part of my indifference.

I don't mind the belly or the weight gain. What i DON'T like is I feel ike I am retaining water lately. My feet, legs, and arms all look SWOLLEN to me.  I just started to notice this a few days ago and am not happy!

im actually a little obsessed with it too...and all the maternity clothes look ridiculous on me. i was a size 2 before and just hope i can get back into the same shape after the baby is born. ill have 9 months after the baby is born to be ready for bikini time

During my first pregnancy, the belly was cute. This time- not soo much!
I look like a bunch of spare tires are around my waist. My boobs are enormous and I got a bad haircut to boot.
I feel like a big, fat lumberjack!

yah...i was also a size 2/4 pre preg. now i feel huge, its a wierd feeling to be gaining weight every time you get on the scale..... I have started to exercise as its good for the baby, plus i don't want to gain a huge amount of weight during pregnancy.

Ya know what? I was once 260 pounds. I lost weight and got down as low as 145 and evened out at 155. I went from a size 24 to a 10. I thought I would have a hard time making peace with an explanding waistline as it took me almost 2 years to actually see myself as thin. the mind plays horrible tricks on you.
But NEVER did I not welcome a belly evolving from pregnancy. It is a gift to me. I look forward to getting bigger.

I don't mind at all. Honestly, it is a priviledge to be pregnant and every moment with my little baby is a gift. Every kick, every movement, every day of growth is a blessing and I won't let vanity make me feel anything but PLEASURE!!

Overall, I loved being pregnant and I loved my big belly. Of course there were moments that I felt like a big house, but I miss it.

i have my days.....some days i feel just fat but most of the time i feel just blessed and happy that the belly is expanding.....yet watching my butt and boobs expand too on the otherhand

Now, 3 weeks after giving birth, I can say that I miss my belly. I miss seeing it grow, feeling my baby move, knowing there is a little life in there. I still catch myself rubbing where my belly used to be.
It will go away, and you will return to normal. But you won't get the feeling of having your little one nestled warm inside you until (and if) you get pregnant again so try to enjoy it as much as you can... it won't be there forever and it's such a blessing to be able to have it in the first place.
