Discharge ?
Ok, sorry for the TMI but....when I went to the bathroom before I noticed on my pantyliner some brown reddish discharge, not a lot but some was there, what does that mean? I'm 34 weeks, never had that with my first pregnancy. TIA!

My guess is it is probably the makings of your mucus plug. Sometimes it has a tinge of blood. It doesnt necessaryily mean that you are going into labor, but it is the beginning stage. If you are worried, give your Dr. a call in the morning. Good Luck !

If it was guey it sounds like part of your mucus plug. Or if you BD'd recently it could be from. I use to get that when we would be BD.

No BD here--lol I am getting over being sick wiith an bad cold, not sure if that can cause it. It wasn't guey it just was darker in color and some parts were light brownish red.

The only bd'ing I did was to get that baby out  ...it sounds like your mucus plug and like the PP said it doesn't mean you will go into labor right away. Now tha I think about I remember loosing mine around the same time (33/34 weeks) with number two an the dr. said I was still closed shut (I happened to have my checkup the following week) but she did do the strep-b test just incase I went into labor early. I would just advise your dr. at the next visit. Your in the home strech

That sounds like a mucous plug to me. Keep an eye on it to see if more comes out over the next week.
I hope you make it to your shower!!
