crib help please
I am starting to look, even though I probably have time. We are looking for one that converts to a toddler bed. We do not care for the ones that convert to an adult bed because the adult bed is a full size and we won't have room for two full size beds (having twins). So I was wondering where can I get a safe, good crib that converts to a toddler bed and is not a fortune?? Thanks!!

I shopped around at BRU, Behrs, BBB, and online JC Pennny. After reviews and checking them out I decided on a Bonavita set at BBB. The crib is about $369 which is on the lower side. It got an A in Baby Bargains and good reviews. It converts to a toddler bed and a full size bed which you will most likely find since the back of the crib is about the size of a full size headboard. So then you will just have to get twin headboards or something. Good luck!

The one I was looking at first at BRU converts to a toddler bed it's Pinehurst by Baby Italia and comes in Expresso or Tea Stain and is $299.00. We decided to go with the crib that converts to the full bed, same brand and line.

I got a Bonavita lifestyle crib. The collection is called Peyton. Pics in album. It was about $380 from BBB, and then I used the 20% off coupon on top of that.
Converts to toddler bed, day bed.
and full-size bed (bed rails and guard rail sold separately)
Dual front leg design insures that the Toddler and Day Bed are sturdy and do not "wobble"

i just bought this from my BIL and SIL
it is the Emily crib at Babies R US
i think it was $300
it is made by DaVinci

I think DH is going to check consumer reports, but you need to have a membership, so his co-worker I believe will log on for him.
