just wanted to ask....For those of you that had it done, how did it work out? good/bad?....TIA!

My BFF had one done at 20 weeks. She had gone to the doctor and was told to go directly to the hospital as her cervix was very short. She was a ball of nerves, as you can imagine! She was admitted in the evening and ended up going home two days later to make sure all was ok. She was on total bedrest from then on. I am happy to report that she gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl on February 26, 2008... 6 days early. Not bad for her first baby!!
