NSUH (Plainview) vs NSUH (Manhasset_
Good Afternoon Ladies:
I am new to this forum and since you are all local I have a question. I live in Wantagh and was contemplating delivering at north shore plainview but have heard that Manhasset is the best. I was curious to know if any of you could share past experience with NS Plainview or your recommendation for a doctor who delivers at north shore manhasset if that is your gut instinc. I used Manhasset for my Reproductive Needs and loved them but am unfamilar with a doctor in that area so I was going on a local recomendation close to my house.
I am almost 8 weeks and was using a reproductive specialist for the past 2 months and now I must go to a OBGYN so your advice would be greatly appreciated.

If any of you are using NS Plainview do you have a recommendation for a doctor who delivers there and is close to my home. The doctor they gave me is Craig Linder in Massapequa. I have my first appointment with him today but I just want to be prepared in the event that I am not comfortable with him
Thanks so much!

I delivered both of my babies at NS Manhasset. I wouldn't go to Plainview, IMO, regardless of whether they were closer to my home. NS Manhasset is better equipped IMO.
Good luck!

Re: NSUH (Plainview) vs NSUH (Manhasset_
I delivered my first at Manhasset and will delivering the new baby as well...
Personally, I live 2 minutes away from Plainview but I chose to go 20 minutes to Manhasset.. People I know have delivered at Plainview and were happy but I always felt that if there was something really wrong with the baby, they would have to transfer the baby to Manhasset anyway...
I use Women's Health Professionals in Woodbury. They also have an other office in Great neck.. I highly recommend them....
YOu can FM me with any other questions.

I delivered at NSUH Manhasset and saw the doctors at Great Neck OB/Gyn (516) 466-0778. I was happy with the practice and I also came over from Human Repro at North Shore.

Thanks for the advice ladies... The OBGYN I saw today gave me a referral to the Maternal Fetal Medicine at NSUH at Manhasset so I will see what they say and then go from there...

I live near you and used NSUH's repro. I delivered my first at Manhasset and will be delivering this one there as well. I wouldn't consider delivering any where else. I use an OB in a solo practice in Manhasset whom I love. If you want info just FM me!
