Judge Annulls marriage of a woman who didn't know husband was born a woman
News article
um---does anyone truly believe that this wife did NOT know that her husband of 7 years -- was actually a woman??? (had male features--but was still physically a woman)
i'm having a very difficult time believing this story!

But then again, there is a woman out there whose boyfriend let her sit on the toilet for 2 years so I'm not that shocked.

true---i don't get that guy either. 'hey you wanna sit on a toilet until your legs atropy--okay that's cool!"
but the thing that gets me about this story was that they have a child together thru artificial insemination--they had to have a reason for that!

i would think that his body parts would look different, but he may have made up something for why they looked the way they did... plus love can be very blinding to things.

Mireles, who is still physically a woman, claims he thought Jack knew his secret years ago. Mireles changed his name legally from Phyllis to Andrew.
I take back my above post.. she defiantly knew he was a she.

Also - what about the birth certificate??? You can't get a marriage licence without a birth certificate... he must have had a female name, and the gender is on the certificate!!!!

if he's a woman, was the marriage even legal? I don't know the law around trans-gender unions, but considering they married years ago, I don't think any state was recognizing a woman to woman marriage. That could be the grounds for the annulment.
I don't buy that she didn't know - that just sounds like a custody ploy.
