update on dixie

when i got her i lived with my boyfriend.....
i told you all what happened at the bar with another dog.

well it didnt end there. she totally has issues with other dogs.

tinky jumped on the bed and dixie held her down growling at her. tinky is little and dixie was hurting her so she was screaming, poor thing.

after that i told kevin (dh) that dixie could live with him across the street. he would bring her and lukin over all the time and we would watch her very closely.
well, one night they were sleeping over and she snapped at dharma.

THEN we decided she cant really come over anymore.

so all is well for a week or so.......
i go over kevins to watch the l word and shes on my lap (a huge pit bull on my lap!) and lukin jumped on kevins lap and she efing attacked him.

kevin had to pry her jaws from around lukins neck. his whole head was in her mouth :(
she did damage. her tooth went in his eye, so his eye was bleeding. and she bit a chunk out of her ear.

my poor boy


so, she now lives with my boyfriend because she cant be around other dogs or cats :(

i love her still though, its not her fault. she was probably raised like that. as a fighter or somehting.
i still see her all the time so thats good and she lives with my bf so its all good and my babies are no longer in danger.

I feel your pain Jes. The same thing happened with Foxy. It is so hard if they've been in a fighting situation.

Sorry this had to happen. From your accounts, the incident with Lukin was at least the 4th incident that you know of. I truly hope you will keep Dixie from other pets now.
