I hate hormones - sad about somthing and walked out crying

This is going to sound so silly and maybe selfish but living 1200 miles away from family and friends the one thing I was looking forward too was a baby shower.

And it doesnt look like one is going to happen for me. My doctors office wont allow me to fly from July till the baby is born in September. And their are just so many other things going on that their isn't a right time for a shower

Sometimes I hate living 1200 miles away. Knowing all of this I just got up from my desk and had to go to the ladies room where I was crying my eyes out.

Sorry for the rant, just feeling sorry for myself

I am sorry. I wish I still lived in Florida because I would be there for you.

I understand the hormone issues. I walked into my office yesterday and started crying before I even got to my desk. Sometimes the hormones are just EVIL!!

could they have your shower the same weekend as dh's cousins? If cousins shower was saturday, could they have yours on sunday?
