Re: vote on a cruise, please
It depends..... If leaving from Jersey is more convenient than go with the first one. But if you don't mind paying for airfare to FL then I'd definitely pick the second one. I would also stay in Miami 2-3 more days at the end of the cruise.
As for the third, I would rather fly to Bermuda than cruise there if that's the only island you go to.

Re: vote on a cruise, please
ahhhhhhhhhhhh hard one.
i like the itinerary of the first but i would rather go on a newer ship.
ALSO....number of people on the ship makes a big difference. We went on Carnivals second largest ship and OMG what a pain. The lines are outrageous...So if we were to go again i would go on a smaller ship!
BRI.....FM me or IM me when you see me. I might have some info for you..

Re: vote on a cruise, please
I've been on all 3 of those cruises! (the itineraries - NOT the #2 ship, obviously.) I have been on ship #1 and #3.
I'd toss out #2 right off the bat, because the itinerary is so-so. It's the least desirable part of the caribbean.
As for #3, Bermuda is GORGEOUS and incredibly romantic. Cruising there is great, especially the one that leaves from Philly. That's the BEST Bermuda itinerary, IMO. I've been on that ship - It's a little smaller than ship in #1. Just a side note: Bermuda is more expensive than the Caribbean Islands.
If you haven't travelled the Caribbean much, you should def take #1. If you've been there before, I'd take the Bermuda cruise.
OOOOO I wish I was going on a cruise!!!
Have fun!

Ditto. The first one goes to better places, but the ship quality does make a difference.

Re: vote on a cruise, please
Royal Carribean is a FANTASTIC cruise line. My co-worker worked for RC for 11 years. He loved it there.
RC employees are treated very well, they are very knowledgable, all their ships have tons of activities and half the time you forget you are on a cruise.
I vote for the 1st itinerary.

Re: vote on a cruise, please
Of the three itineraries, I like #1 the best. Out of the ships, of course #2 sounds great BUT I really dont like the itinerary.
We took an itinerary VERY similar to #2 for our HM cruise , the only difference being we went to the Bahamas and not Cozumel (also on Royal Caribbean, which I totally recommend as a cruise line, we absolutely loved it) While I loved the ship and the cruise line, I was just so-so about those ports of call. I thought Grand Cayman was really booring and Jamaica was a ton of fun, but kind of sketchy. Labadee Hispaniola (Haiti) was actually gorgeous, my favorite stop (its RC's private island - great snorkeling, and we went parasailing there)
I've also heard great things about Bermuda BUT not sure I'd take such an older ship. And for some reason I get an "older person" vibe when I think about cruises to Bermuda, probably totally wrong on my part, but it just seems like everyone I hear who goes to Bermuda is OLD (JMO of course )
We took "Voyager of the Seas" on RC, which was new to NJ at the time we sailed in July 04. Back in 04, Voyager of the Seas was the 2nd biggest ship out there, 2nd only to the Queen Mary.
As Red said about her cruise, the ONLY drawback to crusing on such a large ship is that getting on/off for your ports of call/excursions becomes a ROYAL PITA.. in retrospect, I probably would take a smaller ship the next time around I think, though our ship was fabulous. The ship you listed in #1 sounds a lot like our cruise. It had all the same amenities, etc. The rock climing, golf course, Johnny Rockets, skating rink, etc. It was a fabulous ship, I canont say enough good things. The clubs were a blast, restaurants great, food was amazing (too amazing actually, I gained a ton of weight )
And we sailed out of NJ too, super convenient.
Hard decision, but I'd vote #1!
Good luck!
