My DH, the hero
He saw a mother walking with a dog on a leash and a baby in a stroller. She stopped at an intersection and bent down. (to tend to teh dog or tie a shoelace). She didn't put the brake on the stroller and it rolled into the intersection. He ran after it and stopped it from going to far. The mom was so embarassed. She said thanks and turned away.
And on Saturday, DH saved a fed ex cart from the same thing. It rolled into t he intersection because of the wind and could have really hurt someone. The Fed Ex guy was in a bodega getting a drink and had no idea. He just left the handtruck outside.
