Thanks for all the prayers. I updated the pets board thread. I won't keep two threads going b/c I don't want to break the rules. I was just so upset earlier and wanted all the prayers I could get for him!!
He has settled into the hospital and has been getting IV fluids and meds.
I'll get to see him tomorrow.

Ugh. Does he need surgery?
Surgery seems unlikely at this point. My vets explained that MOST surgical colics are really, really severe almost immediately. However, it's not entirely outside the range of possibility if he doesn't improve... The hospital vet (who is a surgeon) seems to think this will resolve itself with IV fluids and round-the-clock care in a few days. I HOPE!!!
