Preggo satieted food craving post!
I just made home-made fettucine alfredo (with real parmesan reggiano and italian egg fettucine)

sure.... but I sort of do it freehand.... this is roughly what I did.... (don't worry, it's fat free )
4T butter 4T flour 1.5 cups whole milk 0.5 cups heavy cream 1/3 lb real parm reggiano (a solid block- grated in the food processor) salt
melt butter on medium heat. add flour and stir into a paste. Let it cook a min or so. Add milk and stir until simmering, thick, and lumps are gone. Add cream and stir. Once simmering again, add cheese and stir until melted and lump free. Add salt to taste. Turn off heat.
Boil 1 lb of egg fettucine. drain well. Toss in sauce until coated well.
