OMG a ton. I am very critical, since I used to manage bars/restaurants.
But I over-tip for good service.
Me too..for the same reason.

The time the server took the men's orders before the women and actually poked my husband in the arm with her pen... when we didn't get served appetizers or entrees at the same time and when mine finally showed up, it was cold... whenever I have to ask a different server for something because mine can't be found... when they don't check in at all...
But when a server is personable, actually smiles, is genuinely friendly, checks in at least twice, brings extra napkins or fills the glasses... They get better tips.
