what happened?
I haven't had AF since Christmas day. I have had the cramps and was SURE that I was getting it this past week. I had spotting for 2-3 days and then it turned into a somewhat light bleed. I didn't even call the RE b/c I didn't think she was "really" here yet... and after 2 days, it's gone. I'm so confused!v I was really hoping to go to the RE on Wed or Thurs (or even Fri for that matter) before I left for vacation so we'd have somewhat of a clue where to pick up when I get back.
We were going to just try naturally this month since DH isn't coming away w/ me this time (I'm going w/ my family and he's staying behind to work) and I thought since it kept holding out that maybe I wouldn't ovulate before I get back. Now I'm just confused...

Not sure - but if your hormones are off it could be that not too much lining had built up so you had a short AF, or could just be weird mid-cycle bleeding. You will probably have to take Provera to get AF when you're ready to start again. My last AF was 12/20 and I definitely didn't O during that time - I'm in the middle of my Provera prescription now.

I agree. You have PCOS right? You're on Metformin? It didn't regulate your cycle? Can they up your dose (not that anyone really wants that)?
I had very long cycles. My RE put me on 2000mg of Metformin and my cycle is like clockwork.
