i had it at an italian restaurant once in plainview..it was some kind of pork chop dish where the pork chops were pounded, then breaded and fried..and on top i think there was diced tomatoes and maybe mozzarella..
does anyone know what this is and how to make it ?

I've had that with chicken or veal.
Basically bread and fry the cutlet like normal, then top it with something similar to bruchetta (red onion, plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, oil, balsamic viengar, salt & pepper, garlic powder to taste)

It sounds like scallopine made with pork, but scallopine doesn't usually have prosciutto. Saltimbocca does though. Do you know what kind of sauce it had on it?
