This could be moved anywhere!!
I have an internal interview next Tuesday at an office in the city where I *think* they are business attire (but I'll venture trendier NYC business attire) - at least it was when I worked in that office 6 years ago.
I also have DH's company "family" dinner that night (still don't know where it is being held).
Do you think it's okay to wear a black (skirt) suit with tall boots or do you think I have to wear pumps for the interview?

I think boots would be fine. They're still dressy boots, right?

Yeah, they are black stretch leather, sorta pointy, about 2-3 inch heels.

As long as the boots are dressy I think they will be fine.
I wouldn't reccommend riding boots or cowboy boots for an interview.

I think you're fine. I look more at the person & their qualifications than footwear - unless it's really outlandish.
