Gift help-calling all hands!
Our creative services department put together a giant presentation for us in a very short time. They worked OT and didn't once complain. We want to send them something really nice today. We are in midtown.
Any ideas?

I think cookies are a great idea.
If you plan to send them a free lunch, I'd be sure to let them know what day. This way, people don't bring their lunch or make other plans if they want to participate.

So, we like the lunch idea. What kind of lunch? I was thinking pizza because almost everyone loves pizza and you can do vegetarian, kosher and lactose free pizza in case that's an issue.
Other ideas?
I think we are doing lunch and cookies.

Don't ask me. I'm the pickiest eater in the world. I HATE pizza.
But... most people DO like it.
And I'd totally dig cookies. Lots and lots and lots of cookies. (Can you tell I'm dieting?! LOL)

Seriously, though -- most people love pizza. I'd do that and a few salads, plus the cookies!

Lunch is a great idea...if it wasn't pizza I think that would make it a bit more special.
Maybe some different wraps, salads & of course cookies for dessert.

When we order out for meetings its usually wraps of some kind. You can get veggie wraps and meat wraps and everything in between. Also, we order in side salads with the wraps and little bags of chips and drinks (and sometimes cookies!).

I would much prefer wraps and sandwiches to having pizza....even gormet sandwiches....roasted peppers with mozzerella and pesto is my favorite

we get lots of lunches like sandwiches and wraps ordered in a lot. I was just trying to come up with something else. Then again we do a lot of pizza sometimes.
I will get some more feedback from the head of the dept.
And Kara, whatever you want!
I'm thinking BBQ..maybe virgils?

Pizza is usually seen as the "cheap" lunch option in our office  and if fancy sandwiches are not that out of the ordinary, what about a NICE breakfast?

We did this for our Holiday luncheon. We normally all make something but instead we pooled $$ together and ordered:
Penna a la vodka
Chicken Parmesan
Chicken Marsala
Another chicken dish which I thought was a bit much, I would've opted for eggplant or veal instead.
Bowties and broccoli
Salad
Garlic knots
