CRAZY CONVOS
Every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas...my family takes the opportunity to talk about the craziest topics...You name it we talked and debated it on said holidays...
This year was Lesbians, Viagra and Mariah Carey...
Anyone else have any crazy convos?

yes, there were quite a few ...
* with my mother, aunt, cousin and her husband, and my DH ... is more than a handful/mouthful a waste? ... agree or disagree (my cousin has tiny boobs, I have big boobs)
* with everyone ... is my brother a severe metrosexual or really just gay? It's been a running joke for about 10 years, he primps himself more than his girlfriend primps herself.

I only went to Rich's family for dessert --- a couple of bottles of wine had been downed by then, and they were talking about "how the men in that family all got shafted, 'cause the C______ girls don't put anything in their mouths."
 I just LOOKED at Rich --- the shade of purple that his face took on was enough for me to just crack a smile and leave it alone.

Ah yes... this year it was not so much a debate as talking about people behind their backs!  Namely, the poptart-of-the-week that my BILs brother brought to dinner. My BIL hates his brother so he nicknamed the couple "doouchebag and fake t!ts".
Much of the night was spent discussing and trying to figure out whether or not her boobs were real (think Elaine on Seinfeld at the sports club) and making fun of her behind her back (and I mean literally behind her back)... it was awful!

i don't get involved in this stuff and get excited, till i see the product on the field
for every delgado and wagner, lies a list of disappointments, i.e. beltran, alomar, bonilla...to name a few

DH & the rest of my family debated who's fault it was that my 4 year old got thrown out of daycare. Seems that everyone wanted to blame the daycare except me. I blame him, me, us & the director of the daycare. This was all being done while my son was going back & forth from the room -causing me to finally yell at DH in front of everyone to STOP TALKING ABOUT IT because he can hear.
So basically - no real interesting convesations...but am intrigued about the Mariah Carey one since I went to HS with her & know some dirt
