anyone else's DH do this?
I just read him 4 long paragraphs of something and asked him ahead of time if he was listening.. "Yes" At the end of it was a joke and he was like "huh"... totally not listening to me!!! He does this ALL the time- I don't know why I talk to him!!!!

Re: anyone else's DH do this?
Sounds like my DH. I think it's a man thing. Does your DH do a delayed reaction? I'll say something to mine and then 5 minutes later he'll respond.
ANNOYING!!

YES and it drives me nuts. He will even look right at me....yet his mind is somewhere else. He has selective hearing!

Yes, but I do the same to him when he starts droning on and on about something I'm not that interested in.

Re: anyone else's DH do this?
to capture his attention, you needed to insert pictures of boobies throughout your story
ETA: If it were me, you would've lost me at "4 long paragraphs"

Re: anyone else's DH do this?
Maybe women should line up all their shoes and bags and tell their 'wonderful' stories to them, I'm sure they'll listen attentively.
