Oh boy- I used to work with someone like that. She would constantly ask me to just charge it to my debit card (when we ordered lunch together). She would order like $12 worth of food & then just say "she has me next time".
Well.. next time always rolled around, and still, she had no cash on her.
Sorry your going through this. Trust me, I know what its like!

Why not just say no to her? I can't believe people have the gall to continuously borrow money and not pay it back. The few times I had to borrow from someone I was embarrassed and paid them back ASAP. But I would never "lend" her another cent. If she asks why, I'd tell her.

I never carry cash either. I'm just not a cash person.
BUT- i never borrow from anyone
And the rare time I do- I pay back the NEXT DAY.
That is unacceptable!

same here. I don't like to borrow from anyone ever, but on the rare occasion that I have had to I always pay it back the very next day.
