Yes, a few times but both that I can think of were on weekend afternoons and we were pretty much the only people there.

Both times we were there the labs were in the bar!

(And I don't remember how long ago it was when we went but years ...)

yeah there is supposed to be a secret entrance.
i know it was an old speakeasy.

that is where the term "86'd" came from. when htey kicked ppl out of their estblishment they were 86'd b/c they are at 86 Bedford ave. now its a universal term. p[retty cool.

i hear they havea fireplace and stuff, so i am hoping it will be nice. i like cozy spots.

Yes! When I worked in the city I was in an editor's group that used to meet there. DH (who was my boyfriend at the time!) used to come meet me there after. It's a great little place with a cute little mangey dog running around and good beer and food! It's an old speakeasy.

a friend of mine was just there recently and said she recomends it as well.

i only wihs they took reservations.
