If I make an appointment to have blood work done, will I see the doctor too? Or just the nurse?

Re: LI IVF
for blood work you just see the nurse. when you get sonos you will see the NP or sometimes the doctor, depends on the day.

Re: LI IVF
Thanks for the info.
If I need a prescription of some sort, will they be able to give that to me when I go in for blood work?

Just call ahead of time and let them know what you need and they will make sure it is ready when you get there.

Re: LI IVF
Just got back from giving blood.
The nurse said she'd call me today with my results. How long does that usually take? Mid day, end of the day?
Also, I have some questions in terms of starting the clomid and being away on vacation during what might be an important monitoring period. Are the nurses good about answering questions when they call or will they rush me off the phone? I felt a little rushed this morning.

The same thing happened to me. She wanted me to start the Clomid right away, but I knew I would be in NY for Christmas. She told me that there was no sense in taking the chance of my being away during CD3 and CD11, so they just had me wait the extra month.
