If you participate in a Secret Santa....
What do you get your giftee?
I'm in one, and I have NO IDEA what to buy! I haev a $40 limit.  Ideas please?

I do, for work--- but our limit is $20-25.
Depends on the person I'm buying for, but in the past I've given GCs to the person's favorite clothing store, a bottle of liquor, a scarf/gloves set, CD, etc.
The best received gift was the GC - she couldn't wait to go shopping after xmas, and was so excited to show me what "i bought her".

One time I bought my Secret Santa a GC to blockbuster and put it in a gift bag along with candy and popcorn...she loved it!!

so i am thinking about something from that
If there is none i would get something for a home (candles, wine, etc)

we do ours at work where everyone gives in a top 3 list of things they want and they usually get something off that list.
Giftcards and or liquor are always good if you dont know.

Last year at my office the biggest hit was a personalized notepad from www.ipads.com
The gift recipient's cats were like her babies so the gift giver asked her to email new pics of the cats and she used one to make a notepad that said "From the Desk of Xxxxx" and then there was a picture of her cats in the upper right corner. So cute, and then everyone was ordering their own with wedding pics or their kids or whatever.
