Placenta Previa?
I found out that I have this at yesterday's 12-week appt. Anyone else have this? The Dr. said it could fix itself out... but for now, no more relations with DH- he is actually handling that piece of info relatively well!!

I had a complete previa. I was on complete pelvic rest for my entire pregnancy and 12 w PP. They found it at a hospital visit when I was 14 weeks. I went in b/c I has some light bleeding. A sono revealed the previa. It was centrally located over my cervix and did not move. I was on moderate rest and then bed rest at the end of my PG. I had a c-section & have a beautiful healthy baby.

Although I had a previa for the whole PG, the odds are pretty high that it will move.

I did with DS#2 and it fixed itself by about 20 weeks.

had it with olivia at 12 weeks fixed itself by 32 weeks. i restricted myself from exercise and did fine.

I had complete previa which they found at the 20 week sonogram and it fixed itself by 27th week.
I was told no s3x, no heavy lifiting and rest as much as possible.

I read that 80 % off placenta previas fix themselves. I had a very low lying placenta with #2 and it moved

I have this as well with this pregnancy. So far My Doc has said we just have to keep and eye on it. I am hoping that the placenta will not get any lower.

I had partial placenta previa. I found out at my 20 week sono and it moved up by itself around 28/29 weeks

I was on pelvic rest from week 20 to about week 28. my placenta moved on its own.
