Dr. Haunaer patient...
hey girls, just curious how she does things as far as first sonos and all. She was so sweet on the phone when i called yesturday for my right side pain and she was very comforting. I know they didnt watn to draw 2 sets of HCG levels when i asked her last week. Is this normal?

I am a Dr. H patient. They dont normally draw two sets of HCG levels unless there is a cause for concern.
Normal routine in the office is you call when you get a + HPT and they will schedule you an appt. within two weeks to see a nurse for routine prenatal bloodwork. Then when you are about 8 weeks pg Dr. H will give you your first sono.

I had my first appointment at 6 weeks. They took 6 vials of blood, checked my vitals, weighed me and gave me a prescription for prenatal vitamins.
My first sono was at 8 weeks at it was done at the office by a sonogram technician.
My Ultrascreen at 12 weeks and my Level II were both done at Madonna Perinatal.
