Looks like its IVF for us .....
Went today on my CD 20 and found that my one measly 10mm follicle is no longer there that they saw 4 days ago...Lining thickened but thats all....They took blood today and are calling later to see if my estrogen is high (not hopeful)in case Im having a REALLY late ovualtion....My dr. said we can try to boost it with another dose of Clomid (Anyone ever do this- thats a new one for me ???) or start Provera and get going with the IVF which is what Im leaning towards...After 5 IUI's and a couple of failed cycles in between Im ready for the next step...Not looking forward to the shots and cost but as strange as it sounds Im excited just to try something with a better success rate...I go on Jan 16 to discuss my "plan".....

I know how you feel.. I felt the same way.. not happy to do it but excited to try something new.... just remember you are increasing your odds tremendously by doing IVF.. GL and keep us posted

This happened to me this past cycle. I was on 100mgs of Clomid CD3-7, nothing was happening, and my bloodwork on CD14 looked exactly like my CD3 bloodwork, so they had me do another round of Clomid at 150mgs. I responded to that with 3 mature follies by CD22. Unfortunately, our 5th IUI didn't work and I will be starting IVF next month.

Will you go on BCP's when you get AF?? Then you can start next cycle which is really exciting! I know it s ucks right now, but once you get going with IVF you'll feel like you are really doing something to boost your chances

From what I understood at my appointment today- I will be going in on Day 3 and starting BCP from there...I have my IVF "plan" consultation (???) on Jan 16 so Im going to drill him with questions as to the whens and whats....I'm sure I'll have a barrage of questions for you guys too ...Thanks

Yes, my doc was going to start me on a second round of clomid bc 50mg wasnt doing anything..he was going to do 100 for 5 days..i ended up not doing it bc of my HSG coming back not good..i just had a lap yesterday and it was awful...i was under for 3 hours but i am glad to be home relaxing...
I may be going the IVF route this summer..it truely is a blessing as an option and just know that this option will give you a baby..i think i am going to look at the packages with your money back..my doc offers it and i think it is good bc then it mentally wont destroy me if it doesnt work on the first try...i even called my insurance to make sure they cover the drugs and they do..thank god for that...

This happened to me this cycle too. I am on my second round of clomid in the same cycle. I'll probably have an IUI middle of next week. And then we are moving onto IVF at the end of the month too.
