Dehydration while pregnant
I'm not dehydrated or at least I don't believe I am. I actually drink tons of water each day but just curious...
At what point can you become dehydrated? How many glasses of water should you drink?
I have been getting cramps on and off since yesterday, not to the extreme but I'm thinking...could I be dehydrated?
I'm drinking a lot of water today or at least I think I am...I didn't drink that much yesterday.
Should I be concerned?

Re: Dehydration while pregnant
Are they painful? I think you are too early for braxton hicks.
My dr told me that you can feel contractions/cramps if you are not drinking enough water.
when in doubt call your dr.
ETA: Urin color is always a good indicator. Should be almost clear.

No, they are not painful to the point where I am hunched over or anything like that...just mild cramping. I try to drink as much as water as possible although yesterday I hardly drank any water which I never do.
My urine is clear...I am waiting for my doctor to call me back.

I had that... it was braxton hicks. The dr. mentioned it could be stronger because of dehydration, but like you my urine is clear and I drink A LOT of water. I went in and they did a sono just to make sure the baby was OK and my cervix was OK.
