Need Some advice....
My sister is getting married in Florida June 10th. At firts I want going to make it because I was PG and due June 3rd. I had a miscarriage, and hope that we get PG on our next shot. My sister is coming up in December so we can pick out a dress (we have one picked) just a matter of making sure it is the one we all want and taking measurements)
My question is do I order a lager dress just in case or should?? I feel like I will jinx myself? Thanks

I would order big just in case they can always take it in. I think if you order small it would be more difficult for them to take it out.

Re: Need Some advice....
Can you get the measurements in Dec but hold off ordering for 2 more months? BM gowns don't take nearly as long to come in.

I agree with this suggestion. I would hold off on actually ordering your dress as long as possible. If she's getting married in June, she really shouldn't have to order until February, maybe January to be safe.

Re: Need Some advice....
Talk to the person taking your measurements and explain the situation. If the dress is 2 piece they can always add a panel to make it bigger. I dont know if they can do that with a 1 piece dress though. I would probably order it a size or two bigger to give you some room. It can always be taken in if you need it to - but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're big as a house by June!

I would order the larger dress - it is so much easy to take it in then let it out

Re: Need Some advice....
DON'T order the dress in a larger size...wait as long as you can to order it, as someone else suggested. BM dress sizes are very rarely the same size chart as a dress you'd buy at Macy's, they are bigger to begin with. If you don't gain that much weight, and they have to take off a lot of material, the dress will start to lose it shape-not to mention you'll get killed with the price of alterations.

Re: Need Some advice....
Just in case, I'd order something a little bigger- you may have to pay for some alterations (but those shops always seem to get you anyway! ) but it's usually easier to take something in than to let it out.

Diane- I understand the feeling of "jinxing" things- I get scared like that too.
I would see if you can hold off on ordering it. If not, for me, I would just order your normal size dress. They usually come bigger anyway and if not, I would think- let this PLEASE be my worst problem!

Re: Need Some advice....
I was planning on being pregant by the time my sister's wedding came so I just ordered a larger dress. I ordered a dress 2 xs my size just to be on the safe size and it fit and I didn't need alterations.
