how long does the cold last?
Just curious to see how long colds last on your children. Jake started getting a cold on Sunday and he still has it. His 1st birthday party is on Sunday, I am hoping he will be better. I am giving him tylenol. Do you think he will be better? He has a really bad runny nose and a little cough. Thanks.

Depends. Connor's last cold lasted more than 10 days. He was finally better and now has another one! Damn daycare.
Hope he is better.

Usually 3-5 days - I give them airborne jr., lots of oj, no dairy to help them out.

My dr said the runny nose and congestion could last about 7-10 days! Mine son's started on Friday and he still has it. I hope your son gets better soon - I don't want it to affect his party!

Sometimes they can last 3 or 4 days or sometimes they linger on for over a week.
