Am I Wrong?
DHs best friend is going to be layed off. His company isn't getting enough work in so they're being sent home without pay if there's no work. If they refuse to go home, they're being let go. Doesn't seem right to me, but whatever. DH right away is all "I'll get him a job where I work." I don't think it's a good idea because his friend tends to call in sick a lot because he drinks a lot and doesn't go home early if it's a work night. I don't want it to reflect negatively on my DH if he were to get him a job. Am I wrong?

Re: Am I Wrong?
I can see your concern, but if your husband remains in good standing with his job, I don't see how this guys actions will affect him.

ditto, on this one I would left the boys work it out. I personally wouldn't get involved, but I understand your concerns.

Re: Am I Wrong?
If I were you I would voice my concern, because I think it's legit. If your DH suggests his boss hire his friend and the friend is an awful employee I think it could look bad for your DH. I wouldn't mix friend/family with work.
It seems unfair, but your DH's boss could judge him by his friend's behavior. ETA: I think it could look bad for your DH because if his friend is a bad employee it might make the boss think your DH is more interested in hooking up friends and such rather than having the best interest of the business at heart.
