"Eh, not bad"
So I step on the scale at my app't. this morning (now mind you, I've gained in the upwards part of the expected total weight gain), and the nurse comments, "Eh, not bad."
Now my question is, when did it become okay for other people to comment on my weight gain?! Seriously, I feel badly enough that I can't stop stuffing my face, but I don't need comments from the peanut gallery.

I say it becomes okay for other people to talk isht about your weight about the same time it becomes okay to punch people in the head. So start swinging! 
And you look fantastic so don't sweat it. After all, your boobs are still bigger than your belly.

 Thanks! I think my belly is finally catching up. But I think the girls are growing again. In my medical opinion, I'd like to attribute the new lbs. to that.

People's brains go byebye when they are around a PG person. Oh hello stranger, let me molest your belly and say any old wildly inappropriate thing that comes to mind.
You might have gained most of that weight in your knockers and the nurse was simlpy admiring them...did you see where her eyes were when she said "eh, not bad?"

I hadn't met her before (I don't know her name). She had short wavy-ish/curly hair). I like it best when they just don't tell me the number . . . I like to blissfully imagine that it's lower than what it actually is! 
The growth sono was great though!! It's still a  , so that's good to know. She's at 4 lbs. and is head down!
The only scary part was when the dr. told me that if my platelet count falls below 100,000, then I might not be able to get an epidural.   Right now, I'm at 121,000, which is on the low side, but not terrible!

Aww, shucks! You're too kind. She was on the short side . . . maybe I just mis-took her lack of eye contact completely wrong!
