why do i have to eat before......
my hysterosalpingogram and get a ride home afterwards???????uuuggghhhhh. so inconvenient!!!!

I wasn't told to eat before mine or to get a ride home. I drove myself home! I'm glad my stomach wasn't empty and I had some pretzels and water in my purse though, b/c I had some nausea for about 5-10 minutes just after. Besides that it was some mild, AF-like cramps.
Have a good HSG!

I just ate normal that day (appt was 2pm) and drove myself home. In fact, I went food shopping right from there!!
I had no cramping or anything, but took a few advil in the morning and again within an hour prior to the hsg. Good luck...
