back to the dr tomorrow...
my weight keeps shifting within a pound or two--- and I'm in my dad's sweatpants, which are much bigger than my normal size and they still feel snug. I wish I would start feeling better already. Tomorrow will be 1 week from the IUI which means that last night was 1 week since I took the ovidrel and I still feel gross. Dh got me out of the house this morning to take a 5 minute car ride, which in itself was uncomfortable, but he thought it would do me good to get out. I managed to paint a little today and got all of my out of state orders finished and DH shipped them for me so they'll arrive before Christmas. I'm nervous about tomorrow. My mom's going to take me to get my bloodwork done and then to my drs appointment. My dr is on vacation but his partner will be there so hopefully he'll have some good news for me. Tomorrow is when I get to find out if I have to take progesterone supposotories - won't that be a wonderful Christmas gift if I do!!! UGH!

Re: back to the dr tomorrow...
The meds make you bloat liek that. If you only gained a lb or two, count your blessings. I usually gained about 12-15 lbs each injectable cycle and only 8 or so would come off as water.....
the weight gain is maddening with them.
Have you discussed with the Dr's yet how badly you are feeling?
B/c I dont know much other then my own experiences but I had 13 iuis and I was never uncomfortable to that extent at all ....
They should be watching you if you are, making sure nothings wrong dont ya think?
Good luck at the Drs!!!!

I'm not sure how much I gained. I went in to see the dr. on tues am and they took my weight then. Before that I'm not sure when they took my weight last. I know I gained weight b/c my pants don't fit- I just can't put a # of the amount I gained. Do you have PCOS? For some reason he said ppl w/ PCOS tend to hyperstimulate more. I've been watching my weight several times a day and it just went up almost 3 pounds since this afternoon. I have a sonogram/follow up w/ the dr tomorrow am so I'll just wait until then to speak w/ him. I can't imagine going thru that many IUIs! I am amazed that I got thru 1 and w/ feeling how I do can't imagine going thru another one if this one doesn't work. Thanks!

Re: back to the dr tomorrow...
Trust me - a pound or two is not that bad...I gained over 20 on my first IVF and when I was doing IUI's with injectables, I would gain anywhere from 5 - 10 pounds each cycle. Just wear comfortable clothing and try to do what you have to do to get through the holidays.
