When does the Dr

begin to do internal examinations..I go back January 7th and I will be 28 weeks..also dont some Dr see you twicw a month as you get closer to your date?

I'm 34 weeks and haven't had an internal done yet. My nurse told me that they'll start doing them around 36 weeks.

i started just before 36wks...like 2 days before...they dont want to do them sooner cause it can possibly put you into labour...mind you that hasnt worked for me yet :s

I started going every two weeks at 30 weeks. I'm 35 weeks now and have an appointment tomorrow. I doubt I'll be having an internal since I'm meeting with a different doc I've never met before... but I suppose at my next appt. they'll start.

Internals start around the 38th week (or they did in my case). At 34 weeks I started going 2x a month to the dr, and at 36w it was once a week.
