When you say something that is in poor taste to someone

do you tell them later that you recognize what you said wasn't the best. I'm not talking about insulting someone to their face, but rather that you blurted something out that may have come across as tasteless.


I mean, we all say stupid things from time to time, but do you ever reflect on what you have said during the day?

I think it depends on what the topic is. I've said things before and after the fact been like D'OH but most times I just let it go. I think if the person knows me well enough that they'd realize that it just didn't come out right.

All the time! I obsess about a conversation I had, the person's facial expression, what I could have said instead. I will even survey my closest friends and explain the conversation in detail with hopes that what
I said was ok. I always try to think about how the situation could have been worse and that what I did wasn't that bad in comparison.
