private practice
i just watched this show for the first time last night. i thought it was terrible, but then i found out it was the pilot episode and has gotten much better since then.
ok, i'm willing to give it another chance...
but someone PLEASE tell me that amy brenneman's acting gets better!  i used to LOVE wathing her on judging amy and all i could do was last night at her "acting" skills.
on the flip side, any show that has taye diggs on it gets my vote.

I gave the show 5 episodes, it still sucked (the writing, acting, etc...) so I stopped. Don't know if its gotten any better since then.

I think it has gotten better! I enjoy the show. The infertility storylines they have are pretty ridiculous and not even CLOSE to realistic, but otherwise it is a decent show.

Same here, plus there's nothing else on at that time so I leave that on until Dirty Sexy Money comes on at 10.

I just watch it to get to Dirty Sexy Money, which is worth it. It doesn't get better. Slightly at most.

I enjoy the show. I hated the pilot, but it grew on me. The plot lines are ridiculous, but I've actually been enjoying it more than Grey's this season.

I didn't care for the pilot either, and it took about 2-3 episodes to really like it. Amy's acting gets better, and I think the back story you start to learn about her helps. Once you learn more about the characters it makes a HUGE difference. My fav episode so far is the one with the deceased LAPD officers wife who's in labor! McHot Officer is  Give it a few more episodes....it grows on you
