Has anyone heard of a Sprinkle, instead of a Shower?
My cousin's friends' family member had a Sprinkle instead of a Shower. It was a smaller party (hence the name - Sprinkle) and it was after the baby was born.
I that's all I really know and I wanted to get more information about it, since I'm not having a Shower and thought of having something after the baby's born -- anyone have heard of this?
My mom said why don't you call it a Welcome Baby party, but I thought a "Sprinkle" sounded cute.

Sprinkle does sound cute! Someone posted it on here earlier...but refered to it as something someone had as a '2nd shower'! I think it's a cute idea!

I had one-I totally didn't want a second shower since my daughter is only 3 1/2 but my mom and MIL insisted on just inviting my immediate family and best friends to a casual dinner-we just went to Applebees. Everyone bought gifts since I am having a boy this time-mostly clothes and my MIL bought my bedding and mom my double stroller. It was very informal and referred to as a "sprinkle".

Oh its only shower for the 2nd baby--so I guess I can't use it.
So what could call a shower after the baby is born?
