c-section

I am scheduled to have a c-section tomorrow because my is breeched and there is no sign of him turning. My sister had a scheduled c-section and said she had to go for pre-op testing the day before. My doctor never mentioned anything about this. Did anyone else with a scheduled c-section have to have pre-op testing? Is this something I should call my Dr.s office about? TIA

i had a scheduled c-section and did have to go for pre-op testing a couple of days before. i'm sure its just bc they scheduled it last minute that no one mentioned it to you. call the doctor and see if they say anything, otherwise, don't worry about it....people have emergency c-sections all the time and obviously do not have pre-operative testing! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

i had pre-op too, he was breech as well. doesn't hurt to call the doc, but as the pp said, there are emergency c's all the time w/out issues!

Wow, I had a c-section already and I guess not knowing what to expect really helped me through the whole thing, I just looked up the info for the pre-op since I never had one (had an emergency c) so just reading it got me so nervous to go through it again this time....

i had a scheduled csection with my ds and i had pre op testing as well. it consisted of a quick blood test. that was it. and they gave me some papers to let me know what to do the morning off the csection.
