Has anyone else been sick for this long

UGH, I am fighting this cold/sinus infection for more than 2 weeks. I take a day or 2 off work, then return because I have no money and then get knocked right back to where I started from. Is it worth going to the doctor or do I just need to stay in bed? I heard whatever this is is not responding to antibiotics anyway.

Anyone else?

I have never been able to kick a sinus infection without antibiotics...I went 2 weeks with no relief, I used the nettie pot four times a day and finally bucked down and went. Within twenty four hours of taking antibiotic i had relief and was so ticked off that it took me so long to get to the doctor

So I guess I should call in for tomorrow and keep the "tentative" 10:15 appt I made 10 minutes ago

If you haven't gone to the Dr, how do you know it isn't responding to antibiotics? You may nor have the same thing other people around you have.

You may just have a viral infection, but you might not & either way, you might be able to get stronger decongestants/pain relivers from the DR.

if it's been two weeks, I would give the doc a try. couldn't hurt... for you! Feel better soon!
