its 2 am... updated
... on the night that I am triggering, after 15 days of stims, and my DH, at precisely 10:15 pm according to instructions, drops the trigger shot, the bottle breaks, and it is spilled all over the kitchen floor.......
Since I hyperstimed last time my RE had me triggering with Lupron instead of hCG. But now the only Lupron I had has been spilled to the floor... and just for future reference, not ONE 24 hour pharmacy on LI or in Queens keeps Lupron in stock at 10:30 at night.
So by 11:30 I am in Islip, at the home of the on-call emergency nurse who was kind enough to deal with us at that hour. Why did it take us to long to get there? Oh right, because we got a speeding ticket on Sunrise highway on the way.
The bottom line? Nurse doesnt have Lupron, but she does have hCG, so she calls the doc and he tells her to let me trigger with hCG. So my retrieval is Tuesday- I'm putting my money on hyperstim,the ONE thing i did NOT want to do this cycle is have to freeze all embryos because I cant transfer due to hyperstim, and the RE put me on a special protocol to avoid this.....
After hyperstimming my 1st cycle, and 2 FETs which both ended in miscarriages, when will be my break?????????????
updated: calld in sick, slept all day, went to dr. first thing this morning and apparently my bloodwork came back fine. I have lots of folies, but the nurses said that its the estrogen level that they are worried about, but the hCG didnt make it rise inappropriately and they seem to think everything will be fine. Retrieval is tomorrow at 10:15.
Thanks to all of you for your support and empathy! Please keep me in your thoughts as I pray for my Xmas miracle.

First of all...anything different can be good and tonight was certainly different.
Second...the type of trigger won't make you hyperstim - it has to do with how many follies there are. If you have a ton of follies, you may hyperstim - if they were able to control the follicles then you should be fine.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had Lupron in my fridge!!!
I'm going to FM you my cell number in case of an emergency. You should always have your back-up IF girls for meds

OK my second IVF, I realized at 10pm I did NOT have the hcg shot! I called the beeper # for Rockville Centre Pharmacy. Met the guy in a Starbucks parking lot in Jericho (had my dog with me just in case -- good old Ebony was big and black but would rather lick you to death than anything else!) in the pouring rain at 11:30pm.
SO --- I am hoping your similar situation brings you what it brought me - that was my successful IVF.
