Someone please tell me that there is a way to retrieve a document that I saved over in excel...Chat Icon

Meaning I saved it- then opened it up- erased things and went to rename it- so I could have 2 documents

doc1 and doc2

however I never renamed it- so all the info in doc 1 is now goneChat Icon

it might be in your temp files. also, you can launch the search feature (click on start then search). type in the name of the file. if it doesn't come up, I am afraid that you lost the revised spreadsheet Chat Icon

depending on what verison of excel you have, auto recover files "may" be in different places.

I would go into excel and check your options where the default folder is...

you may need to make hidden folders and files avaiable to see these items..

otherwise, your SOL...
