DAMN!! i guess i picked a good career!!
people are calling offering ME jobs!! LOL i'm a speech therapist at a school, and i just got home from work. i had a voicemail from a random lady saying that another school district in the area is looking for a speech therapist- its three days a week, $70 an hour!!!  of course, theres no benefits, which i get great ones from my school district now... but still! its nice to know the fields in demand!

I agree, it's a great career! I'm an SLP too and I've never had a problem getting a job. I stopped working last year when I had my DS and I have no worries that I'll be able to get a job when I decide to go back to work. At my old district my director was always asking me if I had any friends who wanted a job
