Do you do certain chores on certain days
I was laughing about this with DH today because I feel like we are so predictable.
DH works on the lawn most Sat mornings
Every Friday, as soon as I get home, I clean the bathrooms
Every Sunday, we change the sheets, vacuum, do laundry, and food shop

nope. we just randomly do chores throughout the week when it looks like they need to be done.

not really... but i do try to do some cleaning everyday. one day i might do the bathrooms, one day i might dust, one day i might do the floors... i try to do a little every day so that i don't have to spend hours cleaning the whole house all at once on a weekend. but they don't have to be done on a certain day, though...

The only one we're really consistent on is making our homemade pet food - we do it every Tuesday night. Everything else we just do as needed.

I cant do cleaning during week...I work in NYC and I'm too tired
I do my cleaning on Saturdays...but we're in a one bedroom apartment and we both work so no major cleaning realy needs to be done

not me... but DH....
He wakes up early on sat morning and does all of his weekly cleaning before he's awake enough to hate it 
(cleans the entire bathroom, dusts the bedroom, and vacuums the carpeting)
I'm in charge of dusting the living / dining area and maintaining the kitchen...
needless to say, the kitchen has to be cleaned much more than once a week

I usually leave it until the weekends...too tired during the week.
I do laundry on Saturday and finish any leftovers on Sunday in the am.
I change my bedding and sheets on Sunday mornings.
I vaccum as needed because of the dogs, so it is usually more than twice a week.

I usually do laundry during the week but any other big cleaning is done on the weekend. I try to keep everything up during the week so it goes fast when I need to get it done.
I have considered setting up a schedule but I know it would last maybe a day.

sunday is laundry day. other than that, I do the chores as needed - although now with a new baby, I'm thinking of setting up some kind of schedule.

I was just winging it & I found the house was never totally organized at one time. Now I set time aside on Saturday or Sunday to do a big clean including bed linens, moping, dusting. I'm off from my main job on wed, so I usually shop then & I often clean our master bath that day. Laundry gets done through out the week, I hate when it builds up. I use the little vaccum during the week to keep the dog hair under control.
I think I might consider a cleaning service in 2008 & I want to try peapod to free up more time.
