MORE hubby vent!

So yesterday when hubby got home at 6:30pm, he took Alex off my hands. I guess he felt bad, or maybe he was being a martyr... who knows how men think So, she falls asleep at 7:15pm and he takes the monitor to watch her so I can go to sleep while she's sleeping (I HATE that her five hour stretch is starting so early these days!). He comes to bed at 11pm, puts the monitor on his nightable, I presume so he can feed her with the bottle he put in her room for when she wakes up. So at 12:30am she wakes up and starts WAILING. I wait a second for hubby to react but NADA. So I jump out of bed and run to her room and I'm in the middle of changing her diaper when he walks in all groggy. I told him to just go back to bed. And of course, last night Alex decided to never go back to sleep and pretty much cried the whole night through. I call hubby a little while ago and he asks, so how did she sleep? Um, HELLO DID YOU NOT HEAR HER CRYING ALL FREAKIN NIGHT LONG?!

They are so freakin' useless, aren't they??!

See I let me hubby sleep.. he wakes up at 5am to drive an hour to work and then comes home at 7pm.. i get Jillian even since she was a baby.. he works hard so I am able to stay home with Jillian...Men are not trained to hear the way we are... He never gets up he also can sleep through anything...I feel that sincew he is the one that works then he does not need to get up when she does.. only on the weekends . I learned how to live on waking up every htree hours..


I know you are having problems with you csection recovery...but Maybe there is something wrong with what you are fedding her if she is not able to gpo back to sleep.. also try letting her sleep in a swing or a bouncy or even her car seat.. i had a friend who's son slept in is car seat every night untill he was 6 months.. you can also try putting her in the car seat and putting the washer on the spin cycle...you are not a bad parent if your child does not sleep in their crib a couple of night a week

Sorry things were not better for you!! They never hear the things we moms do. I hope things get better for you soon.
