It never freakin' ends...
I happened to check my bank account a little while ago and 2 payments were made to Petro today using my debit card...but I no longer have an account with Petro at all. My neighbor called me this morning and said her car and the neighbors car was broken into along with some other houses in our area Sunday night and now I am wondering if I left my debit card in the car and someone managed to get it out. But my car was locked and I dont know that they would have been able to break into my car without me realizing it. It just never f*cking ends

I just called my bank...I have WAMU (which I HATE) and they said I have to wait until tomorrow until the charges go through. Right now they are shown as pending on my acct  I said well I am disputing them, wouldn't you put a stop to the charges being taken I dont even have an acct with Petro anymore. I am sure they have my debit card on file from previous payments but *** would they charge my acct. It just doesnt make sense. And why would someone steal my debit card and make oil payments when it would be tracked back to them
ETA: Now that I think about it, Petro did this to me a couple of months ago which is another reason I closed my acct with them. I called to make a payment with customer service and they charged me 3 payments, instead of 1.  And it was for the same $$$ amount.

It's probably a mistake on Petros end...I would call them directly and question it.

And if you don't like what they say, speak with a manager immediately. Gets this resolved ASAP!
